Kyle had never been happier. He felt this strange euphoric feeling of happiness everyday. Kyle didn’t even mind having Odin around, all he could see was his beautiful wife, Miranda.

Everything in Kyle’s life had changed very drastic over a short period of time. And now he was in for an even bigger surprise.

‘Kylie, I have something to tell you’ Miranda said and Kyle loved his nick name now that Miranda said it. ‘I am pregnant!’ Kyle hugged her fondly and didn’t know what to say, he just smiled.

As the weeks went by Miranda’s belly grew but Odin’s heart grew weaker and weaker. He could hardly get up from bed anymore and had suffered by three heart attack for the last four months. Celia was really worried and couldn’t fully enjoy the happiness of soon becoming a grandmother.

And so one day just like any other Odin passed. Even though Celia understood that death would eventually happened she got shocked by Odin’s death. She had woken that morning and felt nothing special, Celia thought that a sad day like this would have some kind of warning. But it didn’t… She missed Odin terrible and when Kyle tried to comfort her she just cried harder. Miranda was sick and tired of Celia’s mourning.

‘Kyle you got to shut that woman up! She gives me dreadful headaches!’ she shouted.

‘But sweetie pie she is my mother and she has gone through a terrible loss’

‘Terrible!? You didn’t even like him!’

‘But mum did, let her have her grief. When the baby are born she will be happy once again’. Kyle didn’t know if that was true, but he certainly hoped so. He had never seen his mother so sad and weak, he was a bit frightened of this new and fragile mother.

While Kyle was over in the park playing for tips the phone rang. He answered and heard Miranda’s desperate voice.

‘Honey it’s time!’

‘What! I will come and get you! Where are you?’

‘I am home of course, are you stupid? Just come and fetch me’ she said and hung up.

Kyle hurried home and then borrowed his mother’s car and drove all the way to the hospital. It was a difficult birth, taking about 36 hours. But they got a jack pot. Two wonderful baby girls, they decided to name them Abra and Ruth. Kyle was thrilled that he finally was a father but Miranda didn’t seem all to happy. She had wished for a boy and was disappointed that they only got girls.
